Indah Gallery is pleased to present Sisyphus—a new body of works on paper by artist Jerome Marshak. Marshak draws upon the classic Greek myth and, more specifically, the interpretation of Sisyphus by French Existentialist, Albert Camus.

In Camus' Sisyphus he explores the disparity between one's search for meaning and a silent indifference from the universe.

Indah Gallery is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 5 pm.

The Friends of the Morro Bay Library is celebrating their restoration of the iconic mural on the west wall of the Morro Bay Library.
The 650-square-foot, 125,000-piece mosaic was one of the first large public art projects in the region, designed by the late Peter Ladochy, a nationally recognized Estero Bay artist whose work can be seen across the country, including at several locations throughout San Luis Obispo County.
A new commemorative plaque will be unveiled to honor Ladochy and the 100 community members who helped assemble the mural in 1985.
After many years of exposure to the elements, the mural was in need of repair. Luckily, city staff found matching tiles left over from the original job stashed away in a closet at the Community Center, and the Friends of the Library contracted with Josh LePell of San Luis Marble to do the restoration work.
The public is invited to a reception to help celebrate this milestone.

Gather your friends and head over to Hubba Wines in Tin City for live music every Friday evening from May 1 to August 28th. Raise a glass to the setting sun while swaying to the tunes of talented local bands. We’ll have wine and food available for purchase.

Doors open at 5:00 pm. Music starts at 6:00 pm. All ages welcome. $5.00 donation per person at the door.

The A-Town Get Down Block Party returns to Downtown Atascadero. Enjoy a unique Music Crawl featuring 15 local musicians and bands performing throughout downtown businesses as they compete for a spot on the Dancing in the Streets stage. Visitors can explore shops open late, vote for their favorite performer, enjoy food trucks, family fun, and a community flash mob on Entrada Avenue at 6 pm. The free, family-friendly event celebrates local music, small businesses, and community in the heart of Downtown Atascadero.

This family-friendly event benefits both Good Samaritan Shelter and the Boys & Girls Club, helping us continue to provide life-changing services to individuals, families, veterans, and youth throughout our community.

The Five Cities Orchid Society invites the public to Orchid Fest 2026, a celebration of orchids, gardening, education, and community, taking place June 27–28 at Olympic Hall, Nipomo High School.
This year’s theme, “Friendship & Blooms,” celebrates the friendships, knowledge, and beauty that orchids inspire. Visitors will enjoy spectacular orchid displays, expert demonstrations, docent-led tours, educational exhibits, and a marketplace featuring specialty orchid nurseries and vendors offering everything from beginner-friendly plants to rare collector specimens.

Saturday, June 27: 9 to 5 pm
Sunday, June 28: 9 to 4 pm
Admission is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
